This chapter, emphasizing experience in the chemical industry, provides more precise insight into how the Transatlantic Business Dialogue (TABD) in particular has acted as a crucial catalyst for regulatory convergence. It comments on the notion of the TABD, its progress, and its prospects from the point of view of the European chemical industry, a perspective shared by the American chemical. "The transatlantic community should elevate democracy assistance within the transatlantic relationship, including the necessary financial resources for this effort."
